All about recipleased


I created recipleased in the hopes of easily passing along some of the great recipes that I have tried or tasted, either from my own cooking experiences or that of my family and friends. Since there are so many web sites that contain thousands of recipes, I wanted to create a “cookbook” that contained recipes that were tested, easy, and deemed delicious.  I hope that you find this site useful in your culinary adventures and are pleased with all the recipes you try.

How Recipleased Recipes Were Created

I, like many others, learned most of what I know about cooking from my mother. But I didn’t really become interested in cooking and experimenting with recipes until I began dating my future husband and was trying to impress him with fantastic meals. That is when I discovered that I really enjoyed cooking and wanted to continue to improve my culinary skills and knowledge. So I began cooking, collecting recipes, and throwing dinner parties to test my recipes. The recipes on this site come from some of my own creations, old family recipes, or from numerous different cookbooks, which I cite where possible.


I currently live in San Francisco, California, with my husband and two young daughters. Although I have my teaching credential and masters in education, I am enjoying my break from the classroom to raise our two daughters and be in the kitchen as much as possible.
