Chocolate Marble Cookies

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a *double boiler, melt:
1 cup of chocolate chips
2 tablespoons heavy cream
Once melted, remove from heat and allow to cool.

Combine in a large mixing bowl:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 softened butter
1 egg
1/2 sour cream
Beat until fluffy and then add:
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Once sugar and flour mixture are combined, using a spatula or wooden spoon, fold in chocolate mixture. Do not mix chocolate in completely. Place tablespoon amounts on an ungreased baking sheet and cook for about 23-25 minutes. Do not brown and remove to a wire rack once cooked.

Makes 2 dozen cookies
